For the ultimate street LS1/LS6 aluminum cylinder head AFR’s all new 205cc emission legal head E/O # D250-4 are your only choice. Specifically designed for 1995 to present Gen-3 Chevy Corvettes, Camaros, and trucks. AFR’s LS1 head offers unmatched flow performance (300 CFM at .600lift) and features 2.020 intake and 1.600 exhaust valves with AFR’s iron ductile interlocking valve seats. With only 205cc port volume (same as stock LS1 head) this is an incredibly 70 CFM increase over stock casting creating unbelievable port velocity and performance. The 205cc is ideal for normally aspirated 346C.I. to 396C.I. It is available with 66cc and 76cc combustion chambers. An affordable “as cast” version is also available. AFR’s LS1 is a direct bolt on, no special parts required. Hydraulic roller cams in "LS" Gen III engines typcially experience valve float at 6600-6800 RPM's. If you plan on running over .600 gross valve lift and/or 6600 RPM, AFR suggests you upgrade your springs to AFR part #8014. Our upgrade spring has higher seat and open pressures (145/380+) to better reduce the risk of valve float in more aggressive applications. AFR also recommends the use of Comp "R" lifters in conjunction with our 8019 spring upgrade.

Standard valve angle and spacing is retained for bolt-on compatability. As cast heads are bowl blended on 5-axis machining centers. Manganese bronze valve guides are used for long life, and hardened valve seats provide durability with unleaded fuels.

Trick Flow's latest offering for the LS-1,2,and 6 engines. This head has been designed on a 13.5 degree valve angle, and uses stock length LS-1 valves and valvetrain components for use with hydraulic roller cams. The flatter valve angle allows for more piston to valve clearance with a 2.040" valve than a stock 5.7 head with a 2.0" valve. In order to maximize midlift airflow and improve combustion the spark plug has also been rotated away from the intake valve seat which eliminates the plug boss and coupled with the 13.5 degree angle makes this head flow more through the midlift than everything else available. Trickflow has built this head with a .600" thick deck to provide ample deck thickness for head gasket integrity without compromising cooling ability. We currently offer port designs to fit 3.9,4.00,and 4.125" applications. Note:A roller tipped rocker and .100" longer than stock pushrod is required with these heads.
The unique design of the Pro Magnum Rocker™ enables us to use a larger trunion with more needle bearings. This spreads the load more evenly and the rocker will last longer. Other features include an integral pushrod seat that insures accuracy and saves weight, a unique rocker design also provides plenty of clearance for most high performance valve springs.
Ideally suited for serious street, bracket racing, super classes, and circle track racing. You won't find a better street rocker for the price.
